Cinnamon has always had a love for children's entertainment and theater. In early 2024 Cinnamon was lucky enough to be cast in UNCG's traveling Theater for Young Audiences show, Last Stop on Market Street based on the book of the same name by Matt de la Peña.She spent the Spring semester bringing the show to elementary schools all over North Carolina, while performing for hundreds of children. 

 

Cinnamon also had the opportunity to spend two summers working as an actor with “Mythik Camps”! Mythik Camps is an immersive children's summer camp, where actors would bring characters from mythology to life and aid the campers in completing a weekly “killer quest”. Cinnamon had the opportunity to play classic characters such as Psyche, Eurydice, Thoth, and Mothman.

Theater is such an important part of Cinnamon’s life, and she truly believes that introducing theater to children can change the trajectory of their life, as it did with hers.
